About William J. Balkun
Education
William Balkun, Esq. earned his Master of Law in Banking Law Studies from Boston University in 1988 and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1982. Attorney Balkun graduated from Northeastern University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Attorney Balkun is licensed to practice law in the states of Rhode Island and New York. Mr. Balkun has practiced continuously since 1983.
Professional Associations
Attorney Balkun is a member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section and has served as Chair of the Alimony Committee. He has presented nationally to attorneys on the use of pension benefits to pay alimony and child support obligations and alimony "hot tips". He is a member of the Edward P. Gallogly Family Law American Inn of Court and an Executive Board member of the Kent County Bar Association. |
